Discover the beautiful world of OIL PAINTING in this relaxed and inspiring 10 week course led by Bianca

Designed as a beginner's guide to oil painting, this course will take you through the fundamentals - from understanding your materials and mixing colours, to layering, blending and building a painting from start to finish.

Perfect for complete beginners, but suitable for all abilities. You'll work at your own pace while developing your skills, confidence and individual painting style.

Whether you've always wanted to try oils or would simply love to refine your technique, come along, get creative and experience why oil painting is such a rewarding medium.

STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN MATERIALS TO CLASS

Materials to Bring:

Brushes: An assortment of flat and round, Hog Hair (not synthetic)

Oil Paint: Titanium White, Ivory Black, Bright Red (like Cadmium Red), Bright Yellow (like Cadmium Yellow), Phthalocyanine Blue, Burnt Umber

Other Material: Linseed oil, Odourless Solvent (Gamsol), Wooden palette, old rags & paper towels, Palette Knife

Canvas: 2 stretched canvases, at least 16x20"
